Beloved, come to meet the bride; beloved, come to greet Shabbat.
"Keep" and "Remember": a single command the Only God caused us to hear; the Eternal One, God's name is One; God's are honor and glory and praise.
To greet Shabbat let’s go, let’s travel,
For she is the wellspring of blessing,
From the start, from ancient times she was chosen,
Last made, but first planned.
Rouse yourselves! Rouse yourselves!
Your light is coming, rise up and shine.
Awaken! Awaken! utter a song,
The glory of the Lord is revealed upon you.
Enter in peace, O crown of your husband; enter in gladness, enter in joy.
Come to the people that keeps its faith. Enter, O bride! Enter, O bride!
