Thank You for Giving!

The oldest and largest Jewish institution in Santa Barbara, CBB plays a leading and unique role in the Jewish experience of our community. Dedicated to fostering a warm, inclusive, and vibrant Jewish life, our doors remain open to all those seeking a home for Jewish education, culture, and values.
There are many ways to contribute to our wonderful community, and each gift is meaningful. From all of us at CBB – from tots to teens, Boomers to elders – thank you for your generosity and support.

Congregation B’nai B’rith is committed to an open membership structure which allows everyone to participate in our communal Jewish life regardless of financial situation. Membership commitments form the heart of CBB’s financial operations and we ask every member to give what they can. Each donation is important, and we thank you for your support. Your leadership gift is a financial commitment above the standard Membership Commitment. Your generosity ensures that our programs and services are open to all, and that our community shines as the hub for Jewish life in Santa Barbara. Thank you for your support. To discuss your leadership gift, contact: Executive Director Elizabeth Gaynes at (805) 964-7869 ext.11 or elizabeth@cbbsb.org.
The income generated by our endowment supports CBB’s programs and bridges the gap between what our members contribute and our annual operating and reserve needs. Through the Children of the Covenant Campaign (COTC), you may include CBB in your estate plan, name CBB as beneficiary of an IRA or life insurance, leave property to CBB, or establish a gift annuity. We also deeply appreciate in-lifetime gifts to the CBB Endowment.
