Share Your Story!
From Sunday March 31 to Saturday May 19, 2018

As we enter into the season of Passover, a time when we gather to retell the freedom story of the Jewish people, please join us for a new program in CBB’s Year of Stories — Every Story Counts.

From Passover through Shavuot, a 7-week period when Jews count the Omer, we encourage you to create a short 2-3 minute video with a story that is important to you.

For example, you can record:

  • A story of pain or healing,
  • A story of tragedy or happiness,
  • A favorite memory of this or another community

The only requirement is that it’s an important story of yours, and one you want others to know.

Your story will become part of CBB’s history – highlighted on our website, and considered for possible inclusion in a special Every Story Counts Shabbat on  Friday, May 11.

How Do I Participate?

Simply record yourself on your computer, smartphone, iPad/tablet, or other device.
Stories should be no more than 2-3 minutes in length.

Stories should have three parts:

  • Your name and a brief introduction
  • Your story
  • Why the story is important to you

Upload your story using the form below. Check back often to see what other stories are being shared!

What if I’m technologically challenged?

Don’t worry, we want to hear from you too! We will be announcing story workshops during Friday night Oneg Shabbats, when someone will help you record and upload your video. Please contact Director of Communications, Paul Zakrzewski with questions at paulz@cbbsb.org.
