This is Heaven

So it brings to mind- what exactly do those words bring to thought- “This is Heaven”

I truly believe when we die- Though I’m not sure of what comes next- but I truly believe there is a next.

So I believe we make our own heaven right here on earth-

We travel paths that are negative and also positive and we must choose almost both to find our way.

For me as I have aged, the following has led me to this glorious place.

Can you love?

Can you forgive?

Can you raise a family with love and not hurt?

Can you see the beauty of our world and not destroy it?

Can you give back to your community?

Can you find in your heart the truth about yourself and do better?

Can you look in the mirror and truly believe you have done your best?

Can you give a helping hand to those you know and don’t know?

And can you say these words and if you can believe in them:

I am sorry

Please forgive me

I love you

Then you are almost there.

Your heart will not ache anymore, your face will remember its smiles, your eyes will see the beauty here and feel the love in your soul.

And perhaps now this is your Heaven on Earth.
