Cantor Mark Childs will first teach some songs and then take a group to sing to the residents at Maravilla and Hillside House, all singing ability is welcome. Bring sack lunch for a break in-between locations, as this program finishes after 1:00 p.m.
A deserving preschool member family will be receiving help from CBB to paint two rooms inside their home. Help us to make this a fun painting party. Two shift of 6 volunteers are needed and a lunch will be provided.
A wonderful tradition of taking care of our CBB home and keeping the grounds ready for another year. Please bring any gardening hand tools and clippers to use or share on Mitzvah Day.
Meet chef Shoham Yaniv and take part in cooking a meal for Sarah House, a hospice in Santa Barbara that provides end-of-life care for low income individuals. Shoham will be teaching how to make the dishes being prepared.
Blood donors are special people. Join our mobile blood drive on Mitzvah Day at the temple . Sign ups will be in the social hall.
This years highlighted charity is our own CBB Hadassah chapter. We have committed to help raise $10,000 to outfit an entire treatment room at the new Hadassah hospital being built in Israel.
